Xochitl Mota-Pettis of No. 8 Missouri Valley Selected Heart Women's Wrestler of the Week
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Women's Wrestler of the Week on Thursday and Xochitl Mota-Pettis of No. 8 ranked Missouri Valley earned the award.
The freshman won the 131-pound weight class at the Midland Open last week, with a 5-0 record.
The Humble, Texas native won four of her matches by Tech Fall and one via pin.
