No. 1 Nationally Ranked Caitlyn Davis Earns Heart Women’s Wrestler of the Week
Caitlyn Davis, the No. 1 nationally ranked 155-pound wrestler in the NAIA, earned this week’s Heart of America Athletic Conference Women’s Wrestler of the Week award, announced on Monday by the Conference office.

This marks the second Heart Wrestler of the Week award of the season for Davis, the other came on November 21.
This past week, she posted a 5-0 record at the NWCA National Duals, four of which coming against nationally ranked wrestlers.
She defeated No. 18 ranked Grace Doering of Indiana Tech by Tech Fall, 10-0, then defeated 143-pound No. 6 ranked Destiny Lyng of Oklahoma City by a 4-2 decision.
The Hilton Head, South Carolina native then defeated No. 16 ranked Leilani Hernandez of Texas Wesleyan by Tech Fall, 10-0, she followed that up with a Tech Fall, 10-0, win over Leah Brown of Cumberlands (Ky.).
And finally, she defeated No. 7 ranked India Page of Brewton-Parker (Ga.), by a 1-1 decision.
