Grand View Sweeps Heart Women’s Volleyball Players of the Week, Presented by Tarkett Sports – Week 7

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Women's Volleyball Players of the Week, presented by Tarkett Sports.

Attacker of the Week

Mariana de Carvalho of Grand View is this week's Heart of America Women's Volleyball Attacker of the Week. She averaged 5.33 kills per set on the week and hit .313 on 64 kills. She had a week-high 24 kills in a five-set win over Benedictine on Saturday.

Setter of the Week

Juliana Neves of Grand View is this week's Heart of America Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week. She had 141 assists on the week and passed 1,000 career assists in the five set win over Benedictine on Saturday.

Defender of the Week

Vitoria Campos Mello of Grand View is this week's Heart of America Women's Volleyball Defender of the Week. She had at least 10 digs in each match this week, including 16 against Baker and 16 against Benedictine. She also tallied five blocks on the week along with 37 kills.
