Heart Women’s Volleyball Players of the Week, Presented by Tarkett Sports – Week 4

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Women's Volleyball Players of the Week, presented by Tarkett Sports.

Attacker of the Week

Mariana de Carvalho of Grand View is this week's Heart of America Women's Volleyball Attacker of the Week after the Vikings were 4-0 on the week. She had 65 kills in four games, averaging 5.41 kills per set, with a hitting percentage of .483.

Setter of the Week

For the second straight week, Juliana Neves of Grand View is this week's Heart of America Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week.  Neves had a total of 148 assists on the week, as the Vikings never lost a set in four matches.

Defender of the Week

This week's Heart of America Women's Volleyball Defender of the Week is Emily Mathis of MidAmerica Nazarene University. Mathis averaged 7.1 digs per set, while also adding 2.1 assists per set as the Pioneers were a perfect 2-0 on the week.
