2025 Heart Women's Outdoor Track & Field Postseason Awards Announced
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Heart Women's Outdoor Track & Field Postseason Awards on Monday afternoon.
Each award was voted upon by the Heart Track & Field head coaches and are based on results from the Heart OutdoorTrack & Field Conference Championships held last weekend on the campus of Central Methodist University.
2025 Heart Women's Outdoor Track & Field Coach of the Year - Jacob Connealy - Benedictine College
Coach Connealy led the Ravens to a First-Place finish at the Heart Outdoor Conference Championship with 179 points. The Ravens won five indiviual first place medals including, the 1,500m, 5,000m, 10,000m, Javelin and the 4x800m relay.
2025 Heart Women's Outdoor Track & Field Assistant Coach of the Year - Nathan Houser - MidAmerica Nazarene University
Coach Houser helped lead the throws student-athletes at the Heart Championship. Victoria Lutz led the way for the Pioneers, with a first-place finish in the women's hammer throw, shot put and discus.
2025 Heart Women's Outdoor Track & Field - Track Athlete of the Meet - Zakiya Porter - Central Methodist University
Porter took home first place in the 100m dash in a time of 11.71 seconds. She also won the women's 200m in a time of 24.40.
2025 Heart Women's Outdoor Track & Field - Field Athlete of the Meet - Victoria Lotz - MidAmerica Nazarene University
Lotz went a perfect 3-for-3 in her events on Saturday, as she won the women's discus with a toss of 48.86m.
She also won the hammer throw with a throw of 57.32m and won the shot put with a throw of 14.43m.
