Elizabeth Ibidunni and Bailey Turner Earn Heart Women’s Outdoor Track Weekly Honors

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Women's Outdoor Track & Field weekly awards on Monday afternoon, as Bailey Turner of Park University was named the Heart Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for the second time this season and Elizabeth Ibidunni of Baker earned the Heart Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Turner, who also won the award on April 4, competed at the Midwest Classic Tournament on April 24, as she won both the triple jump and long jump.

In the triple jump she won the event with a mark of 11.89m, while she posted a long jump of 5.69m to win.

Ibidunni and the Pirates also took on the Midwest Classic at Emporia State last weekend, as the senior won the women's 200m dash in a time of 24.80. She hit the NAIA 'B' standard qualifying her for the 2022 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships.
