Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week – April 4, 2022
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week on Monday, as Magdalena Burdova of MidAmerica Nazarene captured the Heart Women’s Track Athlete of the Week award and Bailey Turner of Park University earned the Heart Women’s Field Athlete of the Week.
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week on Monday, as Magdalena Burdova of MidAmerica Nazarene captured the Heart Women's Track Athlete of the Week award and Bailey Turner of Park University earned the Heart Women's Field Athlete of the Week.
Burdova competed at the Southwest Baptist University meet last week and took home second place in the women's 400m hurdles in a time of 1:03.12. Hitting the 'A' standard and qualifying for the 2022 NAIA Women's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships.
Turner broke the school record in the women's triple jump with a 12.02m jump. That broke the record she already held from 2019.
The Olathe, Kansas native also took second place in the long jump with a mark of 5.81m.
