2026 Heart Women’s Indoor Track & Field Men's Postseason Awards Announced
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its 2026 Heart Men's Indoor Track & Field Men's Postseason Awards on Monday afternoon.
Each award was voted upon by the Heart Track & Field head coaches and are based on results from the Heart Indoor Track & Field Conference Championships held last weekend on the campus of Northwest Missouri State University.
2026 Heart Women's Indoor Track & Field Coach of the Year – Kenny Anderson, Central Methodist
Anderson and the Eagles claimed their fourth Heart Indoor Track & Field Championship title in the past five years, this year ending with 201 total points.
2026 Heart Women's Indoor Track & Field Assistant Coach of the Year – Jacob Cofer, Benedictine
Cofer and the Ravens took second at the championship with 179.5 points.
2026 Heart Women's Indoor Track & Field – Co-Track Athlete of the Meet – Cecilia Campos, Benedictine
Campos earned the most points of any female athlete at the 2026 Heart Indoor Championships with 24.50 points. Campos was an individual champion in the 800m (2:17.51), the 1000m (2:59.51), and was part of the 4x800m relay (9:32.55).
2026 Heart Women's Indoor Track & Field – Co-Track Athlete of the Meet – Nikiwe Mongwe, MidAmerica Nazarene
Mongwe earned the second most points at the 2026 Heart Indoor Championships with 20 points. Mongwe was an individual champion in the 200m (23.95), and the 400m (55.07).
2026 Heart Women's Indoor Track & Field - Field Athlete of the Meet – Carolyn Miller, Grand View
Miller scored 18 total points in at the championship meet and was an individual champion in the shot put throwing 13.47 meters, and got second place in the weight throw throwing 15.15 meters.
