Heart Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week – Week 5

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Women's Track and Field Athletes of the Week.

Women's Track Athlete of the Week

Akeelah Knox of Central Methodist is this week's Heart of America Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week. Knox won the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.60 seconds to meet the B Standard. She also took seventh in the 60-meter dash.

Women's Field Athlete of the Week

Rosjai Curtis of Park University is this week's Heart of America Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week. Curtis hit the B Standard in the Triple Jump, posting a mark of 11.61 meters. She also finished 16th in the Long Jump at the Washburn Open.
