Central Methodist Sweeps Heart Women's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week Awards – Week 4

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Women's Track and Field Athletes of the Week.

Women's Track Athlete of the Week

Allena Rowland of Central Methodist is this week's Heart of America Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week. Rowland hit a new personal best in the 600-meter dash with a time of 1:34.03 to hit the B Standard. She also helped the 4x400-meter relay team to a third place finish, hitting the A Standard with a time of 3:48.17.

Women's Field Athlete of the Week

Annemarie Koerner of Central Methodist is this week's Heart of America Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week. Koerner finished fourth in the long jump with a leap of 5.62 meters. Her jump was good enough for the B Standard and is currently ranked No. 17 in the NAIA this season.
