Heart Women's Soccer Players of the Week, Presented by WinWon Technologies - Week 2

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Women's Soccer Players of the Week, presented by WinWon Technologies.

Offensive Player of the Week

Mariana Barreto of Central Methodist is this week's Heart of America Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. Barreto scored a total of 13 points on the week with five goals and three assists as the Eagles went 2-0. In the 4-1 win over Briar Cliff, she had three goals and one assist while adding two goals and two assists in the 6-1 win over William Woods.

Defensive Player of the Week

Manuela Gutierrez of Mount Mercy is this week's Heart of America Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. Gutierrez was instrumental in securing four points for the Mustangs, recording a pair of clean sheets and setting a new career-high in saves against St. Francis with nine.
