Benedictine Advances to NAIA Women’s Lacrosse Championship Game
The Heart of America Athletic Conference will once again be represented in the NAIA Women's Lacrosse National Championship Game as Benedictine College defeated Keiser University 16-9 in semifinal action on Wednesday afternoon in Decatur, Ala.
Benedictine remained unbeaten on the season at 18-0 after using a dominant second half to pull away from the Seahawks and secure a return trip to the national title game.
After leading 7-6 at halftime, the Ravens outscored Keiser 9-3 over the final two quarters. Benedictine controlled possession throughout the second half and held advantages in shots, draw controls, and ground balls in the victory.

Benedictine finished with advantages in shots (38-21), shots on goal (31-18), draw controls (18-9), and ground balls (19-11). The Ravens outscored Keiser 9-3 in the second half to secure the semifinal victory.
