Heart Announces First Bowler of the Week Awards of 2025

The Heart of America Athletic Conference Announced its Men's Basketball Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, presented by WinWon on Monday.

Jett Tolentino of Peru State earned the Heart Men's Bowler of the Week honor, while Nada Abdul Jalil of Mount Mercy was selected the Heart Women's Bowler of the Week.

Tolentino and the Bobcats competed at the Columbia Cougar Clash at AMF Town and Country Lanes in Columbia, Mo., home of the 2025 Heart Men's and Women's Bowling Conference Championships.

The senior placed third overall in the field with his pin average of 192. He bowled five games and knocked down a total of 959 pins.

Abdul Jalil and the Mustangs took on the BPA Kegel Midwest Collegiate Classic on January 18-19.

The sophomore placed 12th overall and just 52 pins away from a 5th-place finish. She helped lead the Mustangs to a first-place team finish with her 204.4 pin average, knocking down 1,022 pins in five games.
