Heart Game of the Week, presented by the Olathe Chamber of Commerce

Each week, the Heart of America Athletic Conference highlights a featured matchup, recognizing the student-athletes and programs that define competition across the NAIA. 

This week's Heart Conference Game of the Week, presented by the Olathe Chamber of Commerce, features RV Benedictine traveling to No. 10 MidAmerica Nazarene on Saturday in Olathe, Kansas. **TIME CHANGE Tip-off is now set for 5:00 p.m. 

Both teams enter the final day of conference play tied for first in the Heart standings at 18–1. Benedictine is 22–3 overall, while MidAmerica Nazarene stands at 22–5 overall. Each program carries a 13-game winning streak into Saturday's contest. 

Saturday's game will determine the Heart Women's Basketball Regular Season Champion. The team with the best conference record earns the regular-season title, the No. 1 seed in the Heart Conference Tournament, and the conference's first automatic berth to the NAIA National Tournament.  

The 2026 Heart Women's Basketball Conference Tournament begins Wednesday, February 25, with quarterfinal matchups featuring the top eight teams in the final standings. 

Saturday's matchup closes the regular season with conference championship implications and postseason positioning on the line. 

The teams last met in November, with MidAmerica Nazarene earning an 80–77 overtime victory. The Pioneers led by 16 in the second quarter and held a 39–28 halftime advantage before Benedictine responded in the third quarter to force extra time. MidAmerica Nazarene secured the win in overtime.
