Benedictine Sweeps Heart Women's Basketball Player of the Week Awards, Presented by WinWon Technologies - Week 1

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Women's Basketball Players of the Week, presented by WinWon Technologies.

Offensive Player of the Week

Riley Bruggeman of Benedictine is the first Heart of America Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week. Bruggeman set a new single-game program record with 15 free throws, while also scoring 35 points in the game. She also scored 23 points against Kansas Christian earlier in the week.

Defensive Player of the Week

Oen Deters of Benedictine is the first Heart of America Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week. Deters finished the week with 12 steals and 12 rebounds as the Ravens went 2-1 on the week.
