Heart Women's Basketball Players of the Week Announced - February 3

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Women's Basketball Players of the Week, presented by WinWon on Monday afternoon. 

Keona Schenck of No. 11 ranked MidAmerica Nazarene University earned the Heart Offensive Player of the Week, while Ella Larsen of (RV) Grand View earned her fourth Heart Defensive Player of the Week of the season.

This marked the second-straight honor for Larsen. The senior recorded 11.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals per game in two more victories last week for the Vikings, an 87-43 home win over Mount Mercy and a 68-50 home win over Baker.

In the win over baker, Larsen had a double-double with 17 points and 16 rebounds.

Schenck kept the Pioneers Heart regular season record perfect with two more wins last week. A 63-53 road win at Park and a 90-75 home win over Clarke.

The senior averaged 19 points per game, shooting 64-percent from the field and averaged 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game.
