Heart Women’s Basketball Players of the Week Announced – January 13, 2025

The Heart of America Athletic Conference Announced its Women's Basketball Players of the Week, presented by WinWon on Monday afternoon. 

Giavanna Moore captured the Heart Offensive Player of the Week, while Claudia Vanzant earned the Heart Defensive Player of the Week.

Moore made program history last week, as she became the all-time leading scorer in Missouri Valley College women's basketball history, by scoring her 1,501 point against Graceland.

For the week, the senior averaged 17.5 points, five rebounds and 4.5 assists per game in wins over Park, 80-55, and Graceland 85-60.

Vanzant averaged 7.5 defensive rebounds per game, including nine in a 79-52 win at Clarke. She also had three steals against Clarke and four blocks against Park.
