(RV) Grand View Sweeps Heart Women’s Basketball Player of the Week Honors

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Women's Basketball Players of the Week, presented by WinWon on Monday afternoon.

(RV) Grand View swept the awards, as Ella Larsen was selected the Heart Defensive Player of the Week and Anna Gossling was named the Heart Offensive Player of the Week.

Larsen and the Vikings went 2-0 last week, with an 85-46 win over Peru State, and a 71-65 win over Culver-Stockton.

In the win over Peru State, the senior grabbed 11 rebounds and had three steals. She followed that up with 12 rebounds, two steals and two blocks against Culver-Stockton.

Gossling posted 27 points against Peru State, going 7-for-7 from three-point range. Then against Culver-Stockton, the junior scored 21 points and had five assists.
