No. 4 Central Methodist’s Zutorya Cook Selected Heart Player of the Week

Zutorya Cook of No. 4 nationally ranked Central Methodist University was selected the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week, announced on Monday.

The sophomore guard helped the Eagles keep their perfect record in tact with victories over MidAmerica Nazarene, 79-74, and Mount Mercy, 107-61.

Cook scored 19 points and had eight steals in the win over MidAmerica Nazarene, she then backed that up with 26 points and five rebounds against Mount Mercy.

The Mariettea, Ga., native had 12 steals on the week for CMU.

CMU is now 8-0 overall and 4-0 in conference play.
