Central Methodist’s Daryna Bachkarova Selected Heart Women’s Basketball Player of the Week

After leading No. 11 Central Methodist to three victories last week, Daryna Bachkarova was named this week's Heart Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

She helped lead the Eagles to wins over Missouri Baptist, 77-50, Rust College, 65-59, and LSU-Shreveport, 83-39.

For the week, the junior averaged 19.3 points per game and 6.7 rebounds per game. She knocked down 8-of-13 three-point field goals and shot 68.8-percent overall from the floor.

In the win over Missouri Baptist, she scored 18 points, while scoring 19 against Rust and 21 against LSU-Shreveport.
