Heart Softball Players of the Week, Presented by Musco Lighting – Week 3

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Softball Players of the Week, presented by Musco Lighting.

Player of the Week

Samantha Vetter of Culver-Stockton is this week's Heart of America Softball Player of the Week. Vetter led the Wildcats to a perfect 4-0 week, hitting .667 with nine RBI. Six of her eight hits on the week went for extra bases with two doubles and four triples.

Pitcher of the Week

Hanna Vaught of Park is this week's Heart of America Softball Pitcher of the Week. Vaught had two starts with seven strikeouts in each start, including an eight-inning complete game against Ottawa. She went 3-0 on the week, with only three earned runs over 15 innings.
