Dearth, Manwarren Selected Final Heart Softball Players of the Week of 2025

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its final Heart Softball Player and Pitcher of the Week awards of 2025 on Monday afternoon.

Veronica Dearth of No. 10 ranked Central Methodist was named the Heart Pitcher of the Week, while Brie Manwarren of MidAmerica Nazarene earned the Heart Player of the Week.

Manwarren hit .357 on the week with a double and two home runs for an OPS of 1.295. She also threw a four-hit complete game shutout with six strikeouts in the circle.

Dearth threw two complete-game shutouts against the top foru teams in the Heart, in a 1-0 win over Park and a 7-0 road win at Baker. She had 14 total strikeouts and gave up just four hits in 14 innings in the circle.
