Heart of America Announces Runner of the Week Awards - Week 5

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Cross Country Runners of the Week.

Men's Runner of the Week

Tom Kuehnel of Park University is this week's Heart of America Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week. Kuehnel helped Park to a second-place team finish at the Chile Pepper Festival. He posted a time of 25:45.3 in the 8k race to take home fifth place individually.

Women's Runner of the Week

Isabella Aimonette of Missouri Baptist is this week's Heart of America Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week. She picked up her first career individual win at the Seminole Valley Stampede on Saturday, beating second place by nearly 20 seconds. She posted a time of 21:34 in the 6k race.
