Heart Announces 2025 Men's Wrestling Postseason Awards and All-Conference Teams
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Men's Wrestling Postseason Awards and All-Conference teams on Monday afternoon.
The 2025 Heart Men's Wrestling Conference championship concluded on Saturday, February 22 and No. 1 nationally ranked Grand View University captured its 10th-straight Heart Conference Championship.
At the conclusion of the 2025 Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Wrestling Championship, the Heart handed out the following 2025 postseason awards and All-Conference teams. The postseason awards were selected by the Heart head coaches.

2025 Coach of the Year – Justin Schlecht - Dickinson State University
Under Coach Schlecht's guidance, the Blue Hawks took home third place overall at the Heart Championships with 138.5 points. 285-pound wrestler Seth Suvak placed first in his bracket as well.
2025 Assistant Coach of the Year – Paul Reedy, Grand View
Coach Reedy helped lead the Vikings to their 10th-straight Heart Men's Wrestling Conference Championship over the weekend. The Vikings also finished with six individual conference champions.
2025 Heart Conference Tournament Outstanding Wrestler – Carson Taylor - Grand View
Taylor won the 141-pound championship bracket with a Tech Fall win in 4:11 over Edrich Northje of Dickison State. Taylor is the No. 1 ranked 141-pound wrestler in the NAIA.
2025 Heart Conference Wrestler of the Year – Aden Reeves - Grand View
Reeves won the 125-pound Heart Championship last Saturday. Reeves is the No. 1 ranked 125-pound wrestler in the NAIA.
2025 Heart Newcomer of the Year – Cam Robinson - Grand View
In his first season with the Vikings, Robinson won the 165-pound Heart championship. He is the No. 3 nationally ranked 165-pound wrestler in the NAIA.
2025 Heart Freshman of the Year – Gabe Gonzalez - Grand View
In his freshman season, Gonzalez took home second in the 125-pound Heart championship bracket. He is the No. 3 ranked 125-pound wrestler in the NAIA.
Wrestlers that placed in first, second or third in their respective weight classes also earned Heart All-Conference honors, with a first-place finish a wrestler earned First Team All-Conference, for second-place a wrestler earned Second Team All-Conference and for a third-place finish a wrestler earned Honorable Mention All-Conference.
