No. 3 Ranked Jackson Cockrell Selected Heart Men’s Wrestler of the Week

The Heart of America Athletic Conference Announced its Heart Men's Wrestler of the Week award, presented by Musco on Monday afternoon.

No. 3 nationally ranked 133-pound wrestler, Jackson Cockrell of Grand View University was selected for the honor.

Cockrell and the Vikings competed at the NWCA National Duals last week and the junior went 3-0, with wins over three ranked wrestlers including, No. 19 ranked Simon Graeber of Southern Oregon by Tech Fall, 20-4, No. 9 ranked Aaron Lucio of Southeastern, by a 4-2 decision and defeated NAIA No. 1 ranked Thaddeus Long of Life University, SV-1, 4-1.
