No. 8 ranked Garavous Kouekabakilaho Selected Heart Men’s Wrestler of the Week

No. 8 nationally ranked Garavous Kouekabakilaho of No. 2 ranked Grand View has been selected the Heart Men's Wrestler of the Week.

The sophomore went a perfect 6-0 at the highly competitive Missouri Valley Open last week, winning the 197-pound bracket.

The San Diego, California native defeated three ranked wrestlers at the event, including No. 24 ranked Jake Rau of Jamestown (N.D), by a Tech Fall, 20-5. He also defeated No. 20 ranked Liam Swanson of Providence (Mont.) by Fall in 1:59 and he defeated No. 5 ranked Malachi Karibo of Baker by a 7-1 decision.
