Heart Game of the Week, presented by the Olathe Chamber of Commerce

Each week, the Heart spotlights one of the conference's top matchups, showcasing the student-athletes and programs that elevate competition across the NAIA. 

This week's Heart Conference Game of the Week, presented by the Olathe Chamber of Commerce, features a nationally ranked men's volleyball showdown as No. 5 Missouri Valley travels to No. 3 Park on Saturday, March 14, in Parkville, Missouri. First serve is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. 

Park enters the match with a perfect 19–0 overall record and an 11–0 mark in Heart play, remaining undefeated this season while sitting atop the conference standings. Missouri Valley comes in at 14–2 overall and 8–1 in conference action, currently riding a seven-match winning streak 

Park has been one of the most efficient offensive teams in the conference this season, averaging 13.1 kills per set while hitting .368 as a team. The Pirates also average 2.7 blocks per set and 8.5 digs per set. 

Missouri Valley averages 12.65 kills per set and holds a .295 hitting percentage on the year. Defensively, the Vikings average 2.20 blocks per set and 8.89 digs per set. 

The teams last met earlier this season on February 14, 2026, when Park earned a 3–1 road victory in Marshall, Missouri. Set scores were 25–22, 25–21, 26–28, and 28–26, with the final two sets extending past the standard 25-point mark in a tightly contested finish. 

Saturday's matchup features two of the top teams in the NAIA and could have significant implications for the Heart standings as the conference schedule continues.
