Mount Mercy Sweeps Heart Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week Awards, Presented by BoxOut Sports – Week 5

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Men's Volleyball Players of the Week, presented by BoxOut Sports.

Attacker of the Week

Guglielmo Illoti of Mount Mercy is this week's Heart of America Men's Volleyball Attacker of the Week. Illoti tallied 59 kills in three games, with 51 of those kills coming in just two games. He hit .395 on the week with 28 of his 59 kills came against Dordt while he hit .489.

Setter of the Week

Gustavo Kehl of Mount Mercy is this week's Heart of America Men's Volleyball Setter of the Week. Kehl tallied 129 assists in three games and registered a new season-high with 59 assists in the team's win over No. 14 Morningside.

Defender of the Week

Richard Struska of Mount Mercy is this week's Heart of America Men's Volleyball Defender of the Week. Struska tallied 50 digs over three games, including 21 against Morningside and 16 against Dordt. He also recorded 56 serve receptions with only one error.
