Heart Men's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, Presented by WinWon Technologies – Week 1

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Men's Track and Field Athletes of the Week, Presented by WinWon Technologies.

Men's Track Athlete of the Week

Cody Hammond of Park is this week's Heart of America Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week. Hammond won the 800-meter run at the Spire Distance Carnival, setting a new Park record and hitting the A Standard.

Men's Field Athlete of the Week

Xzavion West of William Penn is this week's Heart of America Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week. West hit the A Standard and took first place in the men's hammer throw with a mark of 62.15, while also finishing second in the shot put and third in the discus.
