2025 Heart Men's Outdoor Track & Field Postseason Awards Announced
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Heart Men's Outdoor Track & Field Postseason Awards on Monday afternoon.
Each award was voted upon by the Heart Track & Field head coaches and are based on results from the Heart Outdoor Track & Field Conference Championships held last weekend on the campus of Central Methodist University.
2025 Heart Men's Outdoor Track & Field Coach of the Year - Kenny Anderson - Central Methodist University
For the second-straight season and second time in program history, Coach Anderson led the Eagles men's program to a conference championship. The Eagles earned 196 total points, 85 points more than the second place squad.
2025 Heart Men's Outdoor Track & Field Assistant Coach of the Year - Tevin Riddle - Central Methodist University
Coach Riddle led the Eagles jumps student-athletes. The Eagles captured first place in the men's high jump, as Harvey Sayon took home first-place with a jump of 2.06m. Azan Stoughtenborough won the men's triple jump with a mark of 14.60m.
2025 Heart Men's Outdoor Track & Field - Track Athlete of the Meet - Jatavion Pegues - MidAmerica Nazarene University
Pegues placed second in the men's 100m dash and the men's 200m dash. He also helped the Pioneers take first place in the men's 4x400m relay.
2025 Heart Men's Outdoor Track & Field - Field Athlete of the Meet - Xzavion West - William Penn University
West won the men's hammer throw with a toss of 59.07m and reached the podium in the men's discus with a throw of 47.25m.
