Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week – April 4, 2022
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week on Monday, as William Penn’s Torian Kingston was selected the Heart Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week and Missouri Valley’s Devon Lee earned the Heart Field Athlete of the Week honor.
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week on Monday, as William Penn's Torian Kingston was selected the Heart Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week and Missouri Valley's Devon Lee earned the Heart Field Athlete of the Week honor.
Kingston took home two, first-place finishes at the Central Methodist Invitational, as he won the 200-meter dash in a time of 21.84 and was a member of the first-place 4x100m relay team that hit the 'A' standard, qualifying for the NAIA Men's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships with a time 41.55.
Lee won the men's triple jump at the CMU Invite with a jump of 14.59m, hitting the 'A' standard qualifying mark. He won the event over 12 other competitors. The Riverside, California native also placed third in the long jump with a mark of 6.90m.
