Six Heart Athletes Earn NAIA Men’s Soccer All-America Honors — Ventura Named Player of the Year
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2025 NAIA Men's Soccer All-America teams on Monday following the conclusion of the National Championship in Orange Beach, Alabama.
The Heart of America Athletic Conference was well represented with six total selections, placing two student-athletes on each All-America team — First Team, Second Team, and Third Team.
Highlighting the Heart's selections, Kevin Ventura of Grand View University was named the 2025 NAIA Men's Soccer Player of the Year. The graduate defender capped off an outstanding season with five goals, recording 37 shots, including 17 on goal. Ventura played a pivotal role in leading the Vikings to their first-ever NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship, entering the tournament unseeded before claiming the program's inaugural Red Banner.
The NAIA Men's Soccer All-America teams are selected by the NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches Association Executive Committee, along with four men's soccer coaches representing regions across the association.
