Four Heart Men’s Soccer Programs Compete in NAIA Second Round; Three Advance to National Championship Final Site in Orange Beach
Three Heart of America men's soccer programs—Grand View, MidAmerica Nazarene, and William Penn—punched their tickets to the 2025 NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship Final Site, set for December 1–8, 2025, at the Orange Beach Sportsplex in Orange Beach, Alabama. Baker University's season concluded in a tightly contested defensive battle.
Grand View 1, Indiana Wesleyan 0
Grand View delivered a composed and disciplined performance, earning a 1–0 shutout over Indiana Wesleyan to continue their postseason run. The Vikings struck early when Justin Figaroa finished a setup from Payton Chapman in the 8th minute. Goalkeeper Luis Helm recorded seven saves to secure the clean sheet.
MidAmerica Nazarene 3, Concordia (NE) 0
Second-seeded MidAmerica Nazarene controlled every phase of play in a 3–0 shutout of Concordia (NE), marking the program's third consecutive trip to the Final Site. Ferdi Hagen opened scoring in the 36th minute off a corner from Nestor Reyes. Early in the second half, Reyes assisted Thomas Giraudo to extend the lead. Jeremie Pelade added the third in the 77th minute.
William Penn 2, Grace 0
William Penn produced an impressive 2–0 road victory over Grace behind strong finishing and organized defending. The Statesmen broke through in the 55th minute as Matias Meijide converted. Jaime Rozalen added the second in the 82nd minute off an assist from Ivan Abraira. Goalkeeper Ryan Walsh-Rowe posted a three-save shutout.
Indiana Tech 1, Baker 0
Baker's season came to a close after a narrow 1–0 defeat to Indiana Tech. The Wildcats matched the Warriors with seven total shots, but an unassisted strike in the 56th minute proved decisive.
