2025 Heart Men's Lacrosse All-Conference & Postseason Awards Announced
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Heart Men's Lacrosse All-Conference teams and postseason award winners on Wednesday afternoon.
Each of the Heart All-Conference teams and postseason award winners were selected by the Heart head coaches.
Coach of the Year - Luke Christiansen - William Penn University
Coach Christiansen helped lead the Statesmen to a perfect regular season with a record of 9-0 and will host the Heart championship game on Saturday evening.
Player of the Year - Breck Putzier - William Penn University
Putzier earned 112 total points this season with 57 goals scored and 55 assists
Newcomer of the Year - Ray Lingard - Missouri Baptist University
In his first season with the Spartans, Lingard scored 18 goals and secured 215 ground balls.
Co-Offensive Player of the Year - Vinny DeMarco - William Woods University
DeMarco had a stellar season for WWU, with his 61 goals scored and 25 assists.
Co-Offensive Player of the Year - Breck Putzier - William Penn University
Putzier appeared in 14 games this season and attempted 187 shots with 111 shots on goal.
Co-Defensive Player of the Year - Eli Hahn - St. Ambrose University
Hahn played the LSM position this season for the Fighting Bees and caused 46 turnovers this season and secured 92 groundballs.
Co-Defensive Player of the Year - Max Standage - William Penn University
Standage earned 126 ground balls this season for WPU and caused 19 turnovers.
Freshman of the Year - Garrett Katrana - William Penn University
In his first collegiate season, Katrana scored 45 goals and registered 39 assists.
Assistant Coach of the Year - Joseph Ceto - William Woods University
In their first season in the Heart, Woods appeared in the postseason earning the No. 6 seed in the Heart Conference Tournament with their regular season record of 5-4.
