Heart Golfers of the Week – October 18

For the fourth time in 2021, Central Methodist University's Cassandra Contreras was selected the Heart Women's Golfer of the Week, while Evangel University's Jake Brown earned his first Heart Men's Golfer of the Week of the season.

Contreras continues to have a terrific fall for the Eagles, as she took home second place at the William Woods Invitational last week.

The sophomore shot rounds of 75 and 72 on the Par 72 course. She took second out of 28 total golfers.

Brown was outstanding for Evangel last week, as he won the Evangel Fall Invitational with rounds of 71 and 72.

He placed first out of 50 total golfers at the Park 72 event. The Valor took first place in the event that took place at the Springfield Golf and Country Club.
