William Penn Sweeps Heart Bowler of the Week Awards

After a successful showing at the Warhawk Open last week, William Penn University's Alexis Lake and Jayson Miner were selected Heart Women's and Men's Bowlers of the Week, announced on Monday.

Lake posted an average of 204.5 in six games for the Statesmen and finished third overall at the event. She knocked down a total of 1,227 pins and helped lead William Penn to a spot in the Championship Match.

Miner led William Penn with an average of 218.6 pins and placed eighth overall. In his six games, he knocked down 1,311 pins.
