Zach Bejarano of Baker University Selected First Heart Dancer of the Week of 2025

The Heart of America Athletic Conference Announced its first Heart Dancer of the Week of the 2025 season on Monday afternoon.

After leading Baker to a second-place finish at the Falcon Invite over the weekend, Baker's Zach Bejarano has been selected the Heart Dancer of the Week.

The Wildcats earned 76.3 points in the competition to place second out of eight teams.

Bejarano is a senior from Kansas City, KS.

In order to nominate a dancer for the Heart Dancer of the Week, the Heart competitive dance team that earns the highest score during a competition for the week of Jan. 13-19 is eligible for the Heart Dancer of the Week award.

The team with the highest score will select one dancer from their team and that dancer will garner the award.
