Jayda Roethler of Grand View Selected Heart Dancer of the Week

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced the second Heart Dancer of the Week award of 2024 on Monday, as Jayda Roethler of Grand View University earned the honors. 

Roethler and the Vikings hosted the Grand View Invitational last week and posted the highest score of the event with an 87.20.

The Vikings defeated St. Ambrose, Midland, Graceland and Mount Mercy.

With the score of 87.20, the Vikings posted the highest score of any team in the Heart last week and were able to select one of their dancers for Heart Dancer of the Week, giving the award to Roethler.
