Preview: Heart Competitive Dance Conference Championship
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The 2021 Heart of America Competitive Cheer Championship is set for Saturday, February 27, inside the Collins Center on the campus of Baker University. | CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL / WATCH LIVE
Baker will look to defend its crown after claiming the banner last season with a score of 84.31. The Wildcats are currently ranked 7th in the NAIA Competitive Dance standard with an average score of 79.59 through seven competitions. Fellow Heart member, Grand View, is holding the sixth slot with an average score of 82.60 through six events.
This year's postseason event serves as a national qualifying event by combining the conference championship and regional qualifier. The highest Heart finisher will capture the conference banner while the winning team overall will clinch an automatic berth to the 5th Annual NAIA Competitive Dance Championship on March 12-13 in Davenport, Iowa.
