Five Programs Ranked in NAIA Top 25
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Five Heart of America competitive dance programs are ranked sit in the Top 25 of the NAIA's latest update of the national scoring database.
Grand View leads with way at No. 5 with a season scoring average of 84.50 points through three competitions, followed by No. 6 Baker with an average of 82.70 points through five performances. No. 9 Mount Mercy and No. 10 Central Methodist round out the top ten programs with averages of 76.35 points and 73.89 points, respectively. Graceland wraps up the Top 25 mentions at the No. 23 spot with an average score of 60.34 points.
At this time, 40 institutions are listed with reported scores while 55 schools across the nation sponsor competitive dance at the NAIA level. Other Heart members mentioned in the database are No. 27 Benedictine (57.20) and No. 30 William Penn (53.80). To view the complete rankings, please click here.
Teams are set to compete at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Dance Championship on Saturday, February 15th. The event will be hosted at MidAmerica Nazarene in Olathe, Kan.
