Heart Baseball Players of the Week, Presented by BoxOut Sports – Week 8

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Baseball Players of the Week, presented by BoxOut Sports.

Player of the Week

Griffin Brown of Missouri Baptist is this week's Heart of America Baseball Player of the Week. Brown hit .533 on the week with eight hits, 10 RBI, one home run and one double as the Spartans swept MidAmerica Nazarene.

Pitcher of the Week

Ryan McDougal of Benedictine is this week's Heart of America Baseball Pitcher of the Week. McDougal threw a complete game in game three of the series sweep of Missouri Valley. In his seven innings of work, he allowed just six hits and zero earned runs while compiling six strikeouts.
