Chaffin, Williams Selected Final Heart Baseball Players of the Week of 2025

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its final Heart Baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week awards of 2025 on Monday afternoon.

Owen Chaffin of (RV) Grand View was named the Heart Pitcher of the Week, while Kyle Williams of No. 23 Central Methodist earned the Heart Player of the Week honors.

Williams and the Eagles swept the final Heart regular season series against Peru State last week, going 4-0.

In the series, the senior hit two home runs and knocked in eight RBI's. He also walked five times and scored seven runs.

Chaffin struck out 11 batters and threw a two-hit complete game shutout in a 15-0 win over Park on Saturday.
