2025 Heart Baseball Conference Tournament
The 2025 Heart of America Athletic Conference Baseball Conference Tournament returned to a familiar place this week, as eight teams traveled to Ozark, Mo., May 1-5 to compete for the Heart Championship at Ozark Mountain Sports Complex.
This marked the eight-straight tournament the event has been held in Ozark.
The eight-team field featured, the top eight teams with the most wins in conference play.
Grand View earned the No. 1 overall seed, as they won the 2025 Heart Baseball regular season championship out-right. Grand View won the 2023 Heart Conference Tournament
No. 3 Central Methodist went a perfect 4-0 in the tournament and won the Heart Championship game, 11-3, over Mount Mercy.
Mount Mercy played in its second-straight Heart Championship game, as they won the 2024 title.
Ryan Malzahn of Central Methodist hit six home runs in four games and was selected the Tournament MVP.
The eight teams will compete in a double-elimination tournament with the tournament champion and runner-up both earning an automatic bid to the NAIA National Championship Tournament.

The 4,000-seat stadium in Ozark was built in 1999 and in 2016 underwent more than $2 million in renovations that included the installation of a complete artificial turf playing surface, the highest grade available, and the addition of a $500,000, state-of-the-art LED video board measuring 37' x 48' behind the right field wall. The playing field measures 330' down each line, 375' in the alleys and 400' to center field. The stadium re-opened in 2016 and hosted the first season of the Show-Me Collegiate Summer League, and in addition to the Heart Tournament, the complex will host the Missouri State High School Baseball Championships starting in 2021. It has hosted the Heart Conference Tournament since 2017.
