First Heart Bowlers of the Week of 2024-25 Announced

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its first Heart Men's and Women's Bowler of the Week awards of the 2024-25 season on Monday afternoon.
Mount Mercy University's Nada Abdul Jalil earned the Heart Women's Bowler of the Week award, while Aidan Piet of William Penn was named the Heart Men's Bowler of the week.
Abdul Jalil finished as the top individual bowler out of 257 bowlers at the Leatherneck Classic, recording a total pin count of 1,092 in five games, for an average of 218.4 pins.
She tallied three games over 200 in qualifying, including two scores over 230, with a tournament high of 279 in game four. Abdul Jalil earned the top spot by 40 pins over the next closest competitor.
Piet placed 15th out of 385 players, with 1,100 pins in five games at the Leatherneck Classic, for an average of 220 pins. All five of his games were in the 200's with a high of 245.
